Daniel Richardson

Daniel Richardson reported his employer Bristol-Myers Squibb for illegally marketing drugs which resulted in increased Medicare and Medicaid costs. Richardson and other whistleblowers filed qui tam actions against the drug maker for Medicare fraud. In September of 2007, the Department of Justice announced a settlement in which Bristol-Myers Squibb agreed to pay $515 million to resolve the allegations.
